My latest OpLove session was a boudoir one and Miss B totally rocked it! She is definitely a natural beauty. Miss B was so easy to shoot and I can not wait for her hubby to see his album. Thank you Miss B for such an awesome session!

May 20, 2010I'm officially closed!
May 20, 2010So, the time has come! I’m officially closed. I am excited about our new adventure in Heidelberg, Germany. I will not be taking on any more sessions for the moment. If I do have an available date for a session before we officially leave I will post it here on my blog and on my Facebook a few days before. I want to say THANK YOU! to all of my awesome clients and everyone who has supported me here in Kansas.

This past April I had the opportunity to teach at the annual Mpix gathering. When I first volunteered to teach the boudoir class I was excited to be able to share my knowledge with fellow photographers. Then, I came to realize I actually had to plan a three hour class. If you know me, you know that this was a challenge lol. I’m a very last minute person who usually wings it. And like the past, I stuck to my old ways. I did not finish my lesson plan for this class until the night before at about 1:00 am. I am glad that I stuck to it and made it through my class. I really enjoyed teaching and can’t wait to do it again! I want to send a big THANK YOU! to Mpix for giving me this opportunity!

April 12, 2010I was so excited to work with Miss V. She answered a casting call I had posted. I wanted to try out a few ideas to show the “softer” side of boudoir photography. I wanted to do a session to show you do not have to “bare it all” to do a boudoir session. Miss V came prepared and was awesome to work with! I think we definitely captured what I was going for.

March 18, 2010I had the privilege of being invited to go along with Miss N to get her head shaved. Miss N was diagnosed with breast cancer and wanted to take charge in her fight. She will begin chemo soon and decided to help raise funds for children’s cancer research and shave her head for the local St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser. Miss N and her husband, “Team Pink”, were the top fundraisers for the evening. If you would like to know more about Miss N and her journey check out her Facebook Fan Page.

Victoria secret has a ton of them you can check out. I like this little yellow number because it is simple, comfortable, and would be a great way to still be sexy for your man. You can find it here.
