We will start with a pre-session consulation so we can colaborate on what your vision is for your session. We will determine the best wardrobe to fit your style for the session, flatter your body, and determine the best make-up and hair styling to complete your look. Your pre-session consulation can happen by phone, email, or we can meet up at a local coffee shop.
Preparing for your shoot
Start practicing your “serious” face. I know this sounds silly, but it will pay off at your session. Check out Victoria’s Secret, Fredrick’s of Hollywood, fashion magazines, etc. for inspiration.
Shave the night before, or get waxed a few days prior to your session.
On the day of your session wear cloths that are non-restrictive. This means, no bras, panties, tight shirts, etc. Restrictive clothing can leave red lines and marks on your skin.
Manicures and Pedicures are HIGHLY suggested.
Lotion is your friend! Be sure to put some on before you come to your session.
During your session
There is no need to stress about your session. I will be coaching you through out your entire session. I will work with you on accentuating your best assests and curves. An environment where your true beauty can shine will be created and you will feel like the amazing woman you are!
Clothing Recommendations
Your wardrobe is one of the most important parts of your session. You don’t need to go out and purchase any fancy and flashy lingerie, but you are more than welcome too. To make your session more personal and intimate, I suggest you bring some of your husband’s things, i.e. football jersey, uniform, guitar, etc. Also, a black bra and panties are a must!! You will definitely rock is world with just these two items! Corsets are another awesome suggestion. They look great on EVERYONE! You can never go wrong with a corset.
After your session
Approximately one to two weeks after your session we will schedule your viewing appointment. At your viewing session, we will view your proofs and place your order. Your viewing session can be done anywhere that is convenient for you. I can come to your home, we can meet at a local coffee shop, or you can come to my office, aka. my home. If you are located outside of my travel area, I can create an on-line viewing gallery for you to view your proofs and place your order.

Do you retouch the photos?
Yes. Every single image you see is retouched and edited. No one is perfect, even myself. I want you to look your very best in your images, and I want you to feel amazing!! It’s incredibly important to me not to go over board with retouching an image. I do soften your skin, remove any blemishes and bags under your eyes, and I may even whiten your teeth all while leaving a very natural feel to the image. I NEVER alter someone’s body, i.e. tummy tucks, nose jobs, etc. I can work some magic in photoshop, but I will not play plastic surgeon. Your shape and size are who you are and make you beautiful!!
I’m not a size 2. I don’t think my images will look that great.
Neither am I, but I still posed for my own boudoir session! I shoot women of all shapes, all sizes, and all ages! I know how to coach you through your session to make you look and FEEL your very best. I’ll tell you where to place your hands, how to stand or lay, and what expression to give to make your portraits hot! You will have so much fun during your session and will leave feeling like a million bucks!
Will my photos be placed on your website?
The simple answer is no. I never place any images on the internet or use them for promotions, unless I have a signed model release from you. If you do decide to sign a full model release, you will receive one 5×7 mounted beside portrait of your choice!
What is the difference between a marathon and a personal session?
Marathons are full day events where multiple sessions are scheduled. Marathons are scheduled at local hotels. Personal boudoir sessions are usually more intimate sessions, and shooting takes place at your home or a location of your choosing. Personal sessions are 1 to 2 hours, marathons are 30 minutes to 1 hour. You get 2 outfits plus a strip down with personal sessions, and one outfit plus a strip down for marathons.
Do you provide make-up and hair services?
At this time, no. I do have a list of make-up artists that are local to the area. You can request a list by simply contacting me! Many ladies are good at doing their own hair and make-up. If you prefer to do your own hair and make-up, please apply your make-up a little “heavier” than normal.
I want to treat my wife to a session. Do you offer gift certificates?
