WHAT IS OpLove?
OpLove is a pre-deployment and deployment session help you say goodbye and cope with being away from your service member. Anyone who has had to see their husband or wife, son or daughter, brother or sister off to war knows how hard it is to watch them walk away. I am a profession photographer volunteering my time and talent to this very special program. I feel your pain, because I am, also, a proud military spouse who has been through deployments. I want to listen, I want to help ease your worries, I want to do what I can to help you through this deployment by sharing my love and talent of photography with you. I hope I can just somehow make the year more pleasant and memorable.
SESSION FEE
There are no session fees for this offer, nor will you ever be obligated to purchase anything. This is a FREE gift for you in honor of his/her service for protecting American Freedom. Each family has the opportunity to receive two free portrait session, choosing from the follow situations: pre-deployment, during deployment, or R&R, and the welcome home ceremony. You receive one free session with your soldier (in uniform) or while the soldier is deployed. Then, I send him/her a complimentary album of 24 4×6 prints while downrange. Your second free session is coverage of the homecoming ceremony. Your complimentary album of 24 prints will be delivered to your mailing address approximately 2-4 weeks after your ceremony. Please note, if your soldier is within 90 days of returning home from their deployment, you do not qualify for the “during deployment” session.
WHAT TO WEAR
All I ask is that the deploying solider be in military uniform for the session. Some images may be taken in civilian clothes but please understand this program does not focus on traditional family portraiture. If an OpLove session takes place and the spouse has already been deployed, the session should keep a patriotic theme including military gear such as hats, uniforms, boots, dog tags, flags, etc. Or any cute outfit of your choice that depicts patriotism or red, white, and blue colors. Feel free to bring anything you consider special to your soldier.
LOCATION
Anywhere you would like would be great! We can have your session in your home, in the park, at your place of work, etc. The atmosphere should be fun and casual, very relaxed. I will do my best to be in the background taking pictures as the soldier interacts with the family members. I will only be offering gentle suggestions and guidance when needed. Please note, if the location is outside of a 50 km radius of zip code 69226, regular travel fees will apply.

There is no obligation to purchase anything, whatsoever. As an OpLove Client you and your family will certainly be welcome to purchase additional prints and fine art gallery prints at 10% off of my advertised prices.
