On Labor day I did a mentor session with Cailin from Cailin Powell Photography. We were originally just shooting Yadi. Then, we were chatting about how to pose and interact with couples. So, I decided to pull her husband out and take a few shots. I told Cailin, when you are shooting couples it’s all about the moment you capture. Sure you can ask them to sit pose and say cheese, but where is the love and passion in that? I asked Yadi’s husband to whisper in her ear. Their three wee ones thought it would be great to make funny faces at them while they were “posing” for us. It was quite amusing and I’m sure I embarrassed the hell out of her husband, but the shots are just simply breathless. They are full of life and passion!
