I had met E and T back in July when T was home on R and R. I couldn’t believe it when E contacted me for T’s homecoming. It seemed just like last week that we had done their other session, but I was so happy for them both that their deployment was coming to an end. After driving three and a half hours one way to drop off my kiddos and a good night sleep, I met up with E to wait for the ceremony to start. As an army wife who has gone through the waiting before I knew exactly how E felt sitting there waiting. We had great entertainment but were so ready for the soldiers to be released already.

Finally, it was time for the ceremony to start!

And whoever told the Army it was a good idea to use the fog machine obviously didn’t clear it through any photographer first. FYI, fog machine’s make it hard to get clear pictures!

Only a few more moments and these two would be reunited!

Congratulations E and T! I am so happy for you both!!!!

Kristin - Love love this!! I admit I am jealous, I haven’t seen a homecoming in months. They bring them in 2 hours from here and shuttle them back. :(
