My baby turned one! I can’t believe how fast this past year has gone by. Doesn’t seem she is old enough to be turning one. With my husband gone I just didn’t feel right throwing her a birthday party until he could be here to enjoy it too. So, we did a cake smashing session instead. Here are just a few teasers. Enjoy!

This past weekend my local photography group braved the only crappy day of the week, weather wise. I have a talent for picking the worst days to try to go shoot on apparently lol. This was our first workshop style get together and to be honest I was scared to death before hand. I was not feeling well, to go along with the crappy weather, and I don’t do so well in front of the camera. I think it went pretty well though and I am excited to do another one soon!! Here is just a quick sneak peek for you to meet the models we were blessed to work with.

Wow I haven’t done a personal post in a while! On Friday I went with my little one to her school Valentine’s Day party. Normally, when my husband is home this is an easy task and I love being “social,” but ever since he has been gone I tend to hide behind my camera at her school functions. Enjoy a few shots from the day!

Through our professional photographer network, we are helping breast cancer patients to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory by scheduling a session within 12 months after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient. Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as a set of 10 4×6 prints from the session, and 10 watermarked web images for social networking sites. They will also receive a 15% discount on any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.

To support the cause, we have partnered with The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. All funds generated through donations and various fundraising efforts are paid directly to The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.

I’m really going to miss my Shop Talk group when we move!!! We had another get together this past Friday and it was awesome!! Bill McNeil, Troy Ward, and James Smo came out for a morning of shooting. The weather wasn’t great but we had an awesome time and got some killer images. Enjoy!
